Ok for all the KNOW IT ALL'S out there that want to see the trailer....this is an exact duplicate of what mine looks like, mine is 40' but the same trailer.
Now if that isnt good enough let me know and i would be glad to drive to your front door and prove it with a $200 bet to be paid in cash when I get there.

Haulin....you have to be very selective on what three cars will fit, but I do alot of the Ford focus, the small short toyota's, Now it sometimes dont always work out, but I can slide the ramps back out 2 ft and make the trailer 42 foot if I have to....dont like to do that but I can if it comes to it.
I haul 50/50 between 2 car and 3 cars.....usually the three cars I get are from a Toyota dealer and hes always looking out for me so I can get all three at once.

Completely off topic but... bumper to bumper (with spare removed) a jeep is only 12' long. I haul two on a 22' trailer, tires completely on but bumpers overhanging each end, all the time.

Go fast man, since your GVW seems like it is 10K or under, even though your GCW is well over that, does that mean you don't have to keep an hours of service log?

I used to have a three axle 52' three car trailer and it pulled like there was not even a trailer there at all. No sway or anything. Was a good trailer. Best $1500 I ever spent.

I have a single 20' car hauler with two 3500lb axles and it weighs a little over 3000 lbs. Now if your three car is aluminum then we might be in the 4000-5000 range but if it is steel and a 50' and only weighs a little over 2000 lbs I would even hook it to my truck. Doesn't make any sense.
I agree, my 1 car hauler tag weighed 2000 lbs.

Guys I have to disagree with this thinking that you need 25% pin weight. From what I feel in the seet of my pants is there is an optimium weight to have on your pin no matter what is on the trailer. That amount gives you plenty of weight in the bed plus doesn't beat you to death going down the road. Of course I'm hardly ever lucky enough to get mine loaded that way. I do believe there is a number no matter trailer weight. The trailer is meant to haul so much weight. Your truck needs so much weight to be safe and stable. If I had a 40' Tandem Dual loaded behind me I don't want 25% on my truck. This is JMO. But mine rides and pulls alot better with 3000lbs in the bed than 4200lb.

The 25% is a safety standard set by FMCSA and accepted in general by most trucking groups for a single axle pulling vehicle. A tandem axle would be 50/50 on the weight. A lighter pin weight causes sway and is dangerous in slippery conditions. You will also get sway if the king pin setting does not place enough weight on the steering axle. If you have a ride problem you need to cure that not go lighter on the pin.

Too light a pin percentage is a built in jack-knife waiting to happen. Not enough weight percentage on the steering causes the steering to plow in slippery conditions. The whole idea is to prevent the trailer from steering the truck. The truck is supposed to be in control.

I'll take your money, how about 1.00 for every lb. over 2100?? I looked at the JR's before I got my new H&H. That trailer has to weigh 4-5k. I had the exact weight here last fall, but threw out the old literature.

What kind of 3 car hauler is $1500? This whole post is confusing me.
