Hi Guys, I live in Middle TN. I have a new 19' 10K Car Hauler Trailer and I need one more thing for the finishing touch. I need a big truck sleeper to make a trailer box to keep my gear, tools, generator, and my Warn 6K winch in.

I've been looking on the internet and there seems to be a few of the older ones that are the perfect size. 42 - 48" deep and 84" wide by 60" tall. This is just what need to make a front shield/ tool box out of. Interior is not needed, just need a good solid straight box and oh yeah cheap!

I figure these are mostly found on older out of service trucks that will no longer be used or transferred to a new ride. I have a picture of about what I need if you need a picture to see if we are on the same track that I can e-mail. Thanks Jim

Stop by the local car/truck junkyard and see what you can find. It may be cheaper than you think.

 

The easy way to find one is to go locally to the larger owner operater dump trailer companies. They buy long haul trucks regularly and take the sleepers off them. A perfect unit goes for about $600 so looking around one should be found cheap that has set outside for a while and the interior is beat up.
