Very Nice!
Aren't you pushing your weight rating for a 2500? Almost 14k is 3500 territory.

Would like to know how well this pulls with real world experience. I have the same truck and I am looking for a toyhauler with about the same weights as yours. There are two school of thoughts on this, one is no way you are too heavy and the other is as long as you don't overload your tire ratings. Would be interested in weight scale numbers if you ever scale it.

Don't think you'll have a problem, this is not much heavier than my last one, and my buddy, DTR User: w.tx iceman hauls an ice trailer with more hitch weight and more total weight with his quad cab 2wd srw every day. Shoot him a pm he'll verify this and tell you what his weight is. I'll get it on a scale sometime and update this thread.

I follow the "don't overload your tires and axles" school of thought, and then use lots of common sense. I don't need a sticker to tell me I'm overweight. I can tell by the weigh things feel.

Very nice trailer, I love the double rear bunks with its own bath, you and momma will appreciate it on a rainy weekend of camping. My 5ver is 15k and I have hauled it the entire east coast with a srw without any problems. A bunch of the guys on the job with me have campers, several of us go camping all the time, plus we usually have a couple large campouts with everyone twice a year, lots of fun.
Bets of luck with the new trailer, when we gonna hook up? lol, actually we are plannig a month long trip to the great state of Texas next year. Keep you posted.

Enjoy it safely, Tim
