Jordan Brake Controller

Well, just ordered mine this morning, having it next day air, as I am leaving Friday with my 44' Gooseneck Enclosed trailer. I had a Jordan with my Powerstroke, and sold it with the truck. I swore by that controller, and now that I am in need of another, took no other look then making a call to Jordan, and placing my order. His controller

I just transfered mine from my 97 to the 03. I took a little more time fine tuning it this time and it is absolutely perfectly smoooooth! I caught something in the instructions that says the spring loaded center of the module should not move during normal operation - it is only for extra travel in case there is a loss of brake fluid. Mine was moving simultaneously with the cable so I tightened the 7/16" hexnut on the module. I thought a Brakesmart might be worth the extra $$$ but not anymore. I mounted the brakearm bracket just above the dogleg in the arm and ran the cable thru the right/upper corner of the hood release lever cutout area. It just clears the lever. I screwed the box to the upper right corner of the knee-knocker panel. I will put a couple of black screws back in the holes if I ever transfer it to another truck. Craig

Anybody installed one on a truck with adjustable pedals?

Any issues?

Jordan says it now works with the pedals but I'd like to hear real world experience.

TIA

Yep - - works good. In fact, he used my truck to measure the servo to make the collar. The only thing I did to it was add a small bar to the collar to increase the throw. I was not satisfied with the amount of movement I was getting when applying the brakes. The movement of the wire did not match the movement of the pedal on mine which meant I was not getting quite as much braking 1/2 way down as a I wanted. Worked OK without it, but better now.
