no wonder your going broke, if your cost per mile is 2.75, then your way off base. You either need to run more miles, or need to cut some stuff off. Some of your expenses are variable and some are fixed.

You dont pay for fuel if you are no moving, so that is calculated on a per mile basis.

You do pay insurance even if the truck doesnt move, so that would be calculated per day.

I have never seen a cost per mile = 2.75. To me thats way off base, WAY off base. I dont think I have seen that many companies even pay those kind of numbers.
