Wouldn't it be great if a majority of these posts didn't somehow end in a Dodge vs. Ford rally ? Regarding the F-550 also know as the topic of this thread, that is a good looking rig, but I liked them much better with the 7.3. I used to drive one in a previous job, and they will take a beating. I really hope Dodge follows through with a 4500/5500 series in 4x4.

I really like the looks of that F550 pick up truck. But I've got some friends who have a new F550 with a dump on the back; and after the second powerstroke engine was installed - they're finally happy with it.

I'd take one with a CTD in it.

I would be curious to know if the F350...F450 and F550 have different frames.

Oh yeah, the F450/550 frame is quite a bit larger than the F350...

Doesn't that 550 & 650 have the option of having the cummins, 6.0 or a cat motor?

the 550 conversion isn't anything special

pick up a copy of rv journal

their are dealers all over that carry those things in stock and ready to roll
