Forged Aluminum 2011 6 Spoke OEM Wheel vs 5 Spoke - Stronger?

I'm wondering what weight or maximum load the new 6 spoke forged aluminum wheels are rated for and if it's any more or less than the old 5 spoke design. I believe they are 17" x 8", part number 1HL36TRMAA and that these wheels come standard on the 2011 SRW Laramie. Anybody know anything about this? If they are stronger, I'd consider upgrading my 2006

I took this question to the local Dodge dealer. I should have known that this is way over their head.

All they could tell me was "the 17 inch wheel will give you more towing capability than the 20 inch wheel. Wow, no kidding. The 20" wheels come on a 1500 and I don't think Dodge has an 8 lug 20" wheel for the Ram.

So I think they were telling me that the 2500 & 3500 will tow more than a 1500. Amazing.
