first long tow, did 1000 miles yesterday

went from Fryeburg Maine (maine, new hampshire state line) to elmira new york and back yesterday.

went down with just an tandem axle tag and back with the trailer and a TDI jetta figure around 6k trailer weight.

towed it with the 98. got 13.6 mpg constantly on all tanks going probably an average of 75 when the trailer was loaded slightly faster on the way down (think thats why mileage stayed the same)

trucks mods are just a #10 plate, transgo, straight pipe, 3k spring and gauges.

hotest it got was 1300* on a long grade going east on 88.

truck ran flawlessly, left at 2am yesterday morning got back at 8 last night. and went almost exactly 1000 miles.

depends.....

I typically get 12 towing, but I have 4.10 gears, and my towed weight is normally about twice as much give or take 1000 lbs.
