Have any of ya'll tried these. They seem to be the BEST for 15" ST's. TIA

 

Never heard of them. Where are they available? Where are they made? I have always heard that Maxxis was the best 10 ply 15" and they were reasonable to find although a little expersive.

I have a set on our 5th wheel. They're made in Mexico and are slightly smaller than the same size Marathons or Carlisle's. I've only had them a year so the jury is still out but so far so good. I still feel like I should have splurged the extra for a set of 16" rims and E rated LT tires but, I didn't.
I bought mine at TiresPlus after searching all the trailer parts places. I didn't think about a car tire place for trailer tires until the last trailer place I stopped at sent me that way. They were $105 each for the E rated 225/75 R15 Denmans. Check your rims too. Mine are rated for 75psi max cold so that's what I run in them.

 

I just got my new 16" 7 spoke aluminum trailer wheels and will have them, along with the new BFGoodrich Commerciatl T/A, mounted next week. I finally got tired of waiting for tire issues and the hassles of damage, accident, inconvenience. Even thought I have had 6k trouble free miles out of Milestar & Marathon 15's, I want the peace of mind of a better tire/wheel set-up. PCM

 

PCM, that is the same setup I would do , if I had the $. Where did you order yours from?

 

I've received my new 16", aluminum, 7 spoke trailer wheels. I'm going to ditch the 15's and Marathons despite no problems over the last 6k miles. However, I read much more negative about the 15's with ST's and VERY little good. It's kind of unsettleing to read all those stories. PLUS, I like to be able to cruise/tow at 70mph. So for my comfort AND to get t least another 1" of height, I decided to take the step to upgrade. My tire of choice is going to be the BF Goodrich 215/85R16/E. I'm going to go with the 215 instead of the 225 for 3 reasons: The 215 is slightly taller, the 215 is slightly narrower or closer to the width of the 225 ST's so I won't have tire sidewall clearance issues around the slide out bar, and they both have the same load capacity. I MAY replace the spring equalizer with a taller one to further increase trailer height and to insure of adequate wheel well clearance. however, I do not think that will be necessary. I will try to post some pix when I get the mod done.
I ordered the 4 aluminum wheels from ebay. Not sure of the brand but the have a 3700lb capacity at 110psi. I ordered the 5th rim (the typical steel modular wheel) for the spare from ebay, too. I ordered the tires from Costco. The total bill is just shy of $1200, however, I think well worth it. PCM
