bug prob ??

I was just wondering if ya'll might have some ideas on how to keep the bug prob to a minnimum on the front of the camper or at least a way to get them off easier? We have one that has that big budah look to it i have heard that you can put some oil on it (cooking oil) and that helps but im not to sure though. Any thoughts would be great. thanks in advance.

I would like to know to. My pressure washer won't take them off. And if ya go to far into the woods ya get enough bugs on the front that it looks like a fur coat.

I am not sure if it would work well but I use furniture polish on my race car to keep mud from sticking... When it dries a little it just falls right off... Plus you don't have to worry about leaving a wet sticky film on the finish....

But wait >>> Thats not all!!!!
You will also leave your truck with a nice clean lemony scent that last and last...

Removing bugs is easy with a little elbow grease. I use used dryer sheets wrapped around a rubber sanding block on a pole (like they use for drywall sanding).

Sea Foam Bug-B-Gone works well also.

get a sprayer bottle & use a solution of babyoil & water. Spray liberally all over the front. Keepss bugs from hardening. Spray again on the way home, if only a weekend trip.
If you are staying for a time, get the bugs off ASAP, as the oil does not lat forever. stains can be an issue too. The truck squegees with the long handles & a hose, 2 step ladder are usually all you need to get them mostly off.

I don't recomend cooking oil, as the trailer will attract bugs when parked. May make the smashed ones softer for removal, but it will make everyone miserable at the campsite.
