Batteries

Question Batteries

I plan to install two 6 volt golf cart batteries in my 5th wheel, can someone tell me how to hook-up the two. will my trailer converter charge these batteries?

Hook them in series, the + from one battery to the - of the other. You'll pick off the voltage from the remaining terminal of each battery, and you'll have the current and reserve capacity equal to one of those battery's. You shouldn't have any charging issues providing they're charged in series. In that configuration, the charger is basically "looking at" a 12 volt battery.

Remember this basic rule:
With batteries in Series, voltage is additive.
With batteries in Parallel, current is additive.
