Aux Fuel Tank
I'm getting an aluminum tank to fill the spare tire area built. I am going to 19.5's this yr and the spare will go in the bed so I will use that space. It will have two top pick ups...one for the transfer pump dip tube and one for ESPAR heater supply.
I will also have a filler neck plumbed in beside the factory one. I was going to go with a flip down back plate filler but it sits too low to get the most our of a tank. It will have a rock shield on it as well. The pump will be tuck inside between the rock shield and the tank. Shield is removable.

FiverBob...good buddy. You make that sound real inviting. My sis and brother in law have been after me to hook up my fiver and come visit them. They're in Orlando area until April. Gosh darn job gets in the way. I asked him if he could get a tank into his Mountainaire Class A for me! He must be thinking..haven't heard back from him.

RDS TANKS
I think my 90 gal. RDS tank is great. No more waiting in line to get to the pumps and I can fill up with "Hi-Test Bulldozer Gas" where prices are less. The folks at RDS are honest and good people to deal with. Better price and shipping was about 1/2 of what Northern Tool charges. RDS makes Northern.
I hooked a 12 volt pump from a local auto parts store to the pick up tube that comes with the tank, added a filter/water seporater and shut off valve for safety and plumbed it into the vent tube.
Would think that it may not be safe OR legal to hook to Drain fitting and gravity flow as DOT regulations say fuel must be pumped from Top of tank. Simple & low cost to install 12 volt pump. JMHO.....
RDS tanks meet federal regulations. Cost less than most I found. I like the Transfer Flow set up but could convince myself of the twice as much it would cost me.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate evryones input. Looks like the RDS tank is the way to go. I'm in the process of seeing if I can get my brother in law to bring me one back from Florida in April. If not I'll get down there and get one myself.
Like Scotty, I had an aluminum tank welded up to fit in the spare tire cavity. I built a Y in the filler neck so that I could fill from the original spout. The tank has baffles and I fill from one tank to the other with an electric fuel pump.
I have mine hooked up like Fiver Bob said exept I built my own tank to go under a crossbox tool box. the only reason I have a manual valve is so you can change the filter that I have installed between the two tanks. You can hook up a Dodge and a F--rd this way but if you try it on a Dmax it will turn on the check engine light and it costs 25 bucks to get it reset. This method is common practice in Alberta in the Oil Patch. and in the Oil Patch illegal is a sick bird.
