wow... i've never looked much at gooseneck hitches, but wow that is expensive $450

Looked at it before and the idea is good but, I question a company who makes this statement in their advertising;
CAPACITY RATED AT 6000# TONGUE WEIGHT (VERTICAL) AND 35000# GVW. It is important to note that the GVW of towing vehicle + assumed loaded trailer weight, must remain under the 35000# rating mentioned above.
I don't understand what the weight of the towing vehicle has to do with the weight rating of the hitch. Based on that statement the rated capacity of the hitch is considerably less than the 35,000 lbs they claim.
