I was looking into this for my truck would seem an easy way to load the bikes and have a dump for around the house .Anyone have experience with these units. But then I would be relagated to a tag along trailer but wouldnt need a toy hauler and just an nice TT with some slides that would be cheaper than Toy Hauler

Looking at the Choremaster line

I didn't see 2 things, price and a photo of the truck bed with the deck unloaded. I guess you would have all the hoist assembly just taking up space when you weren't using it, not to mention removing the tailgate. I think I would look into a low profile dump trailer if it were me. I believe you'd get more capacity with no modification to the truck, unless you went with a GN. Just my $.02.

Maybe I wasnt clear on one of the reasons I would buy it , I load two softails into the bed when I go out with my camper trailer. I dont have the funds to buy a new Toyhauler as I had planned. With this setup I could load the bikes at ground level and put them into the bed without breaking a sweat. Its a real pain as of now to load the bikes specially by myself . And would still use my TT that I have .

I would then also have the dump for around the house. If I were to get a dump trailer I would have to insure , register and store it.price is about 3k for Dump kit

On the PDF instalation it showed that there are only a few bolts holding it so it shouldnt take long to remove if need be.

Looks like you'll have to really tie the bikes on since it loads at a pretty steep angle. Also you'll have to work around the overhang with the dolly wheels.

Springer, that makes more sense. I'm a dirt guy, I'm thinking about multitasking.
