285-70-17's on a dually?

Hey. will 285-70-17 tires fit on stock dually rims, without spacers? I'm converting my truck to a dually, & allready have the E rated Toyo 285-70-17's on my truck. With the Arrowcraft conversion spacers, I can't use any spacers between the rims.

I'm getting the axle spacers from Arrowcraft. The Fenders from dually fenders .com, but I'm having trouble finding wheels anywhere except from dodge for $270.00 each.

i bought my two rear ones off ebay let me look and see if the seller has more

even though i searched high and low with different searches on ebay i found nothing but then this guys info popped up on accident

let me look and see if he has more they were 130.00 each plus shipping

also i will look on the other forums i go to and see if anybody has any

what r u gonna use for wheels i see now they have wheels just like mine in a 19.5 with 8 lug which is awesome

also i imagine u r buying the reamer for the steel wheel holes from arrowcraft also i dont rem how much the reamer is but i have one that u could use

if not to late then shipping for the reamer and from me to you and then back to me could be cheaper than buying one

he has two availible and his user name is coloradowheelcompany

he wants 138.00 each plus 25.00 shipping each so roughy 320.00 for for the pair shipped to your door and i got mine within 3 days of paying with buy it now ( so if u bought today u would have them early next week)

i was in a big rush to get mine ( not enough to pay extra shipping) so i called him to make sure he knew i used buy it now because it was early enough in the day so they could be still shipped that same day

not sure what rule is for posting ebay links here but if they delete it let me know i will email the info to you

so you guys are running 285/70/17's on a dually with no spacers? I am about to put some 295's on mine and I really dont want to add a 2" spacer. was thinking of doing something smaller. anyone of you have pics of the gap between the wheels?

Yeah, it is. But I allready have 5 of them. I just need to know if I can get them on without spacers. Then, when I get the Arrowcraft extensions, I can just get 2 more. I'm allso leaving to go hunting for the next 3 weeks, & the whole shebang will have to wait 'till, I get back.

From what I have read, They will fit must the gap between them is very small. If you hit a big bump then when the tire squats they may rub which may eventually cause a blowout. The same holds even more true when you try to tow. Since those tires don't have as stiff of a sidewall I would just make sure you keep them aired up to the max if you try it. I'm sure there are guys out there that are doing it with no spacers.....

They're too wide and you will have tire failure. Most dealers won't install those tires, unless they are OEM's. Liability issues. You'd better better off going with 19.5" rims and stiffer sidewalls.

If I rember right the Dodge dually's from 94-02 came with a 215/85-16's, and from 03 and up they come with 235/80-17's.
