04.5 Rear suspension level

Just hooked my new 04.5 3500 to my 5th wheel. It sits about 2in higher than my 99. If I remove the 2 wedges in the rear suspension will this missalign the driveline. Can anyone give me some ideas?

Check out this thread. Many guys have removed the spacer blocks to lower the rear of a 3rd gen truck. http://www.klenger.net/dodge/lowerin...d/slide01.html

I did this about 3 months ago and have had no problems with the truck. Using all the same hardware it took about an hour.
