Nice catch! We went out to the lakes near my house on the 22nd around 6:30 am and between us(5) with 4 poles we landed around 19 bass. Biggest one was only a little over 12 inches. My oldest daughter and my boy caught about 7 each. They had a blast! We're gonna go again this sunday, good fun for the family. Were gonna stick with the minows though, they did not like the worms but would hit good on minows.
sounds like fun. my wife and i (along with our 4 week old son) went camping this past weekend. We have a 32ft 5th wheel so it's not really camping but we had fun. We were at fall creek falls state park, it's beautiful there! I fished a little but only ended up with one bass about 11inches and pretty scrawny if you ask me. hope all you guys are doing well, we're considering buying a "fixer-upper"(house) so i may be pretty busy for a while coming up!

Yeah, that's where we go. Its about 20 minutes from the house. Come into Columbia on highway 31 from Spring Hill and turn right on 412/43 towards Lawrenceburg. Go maybe 5 miles and get off on highway 50 and at the bottom of the ramp turn left towards Centerville. You'll pass through Williamsport and it'll be a mile or two on the right. I think you go up a hill and start into a curve and you'll see the sign.
It costs $5 to get in, they have a store where you sign in and they sell lures, tackle, bait, drinks and such. You can also rent a john boat for $8 which is good if you don't have one. Then you can get into some of the coves to try and catch the biggin'. They have 5 lakes and 4 are real good size and one is not, but it has a lot of overhanging brush and good spots to hit. I believe they open up around 5:30am or 6. We try to get there around 6am so we can get our minnows and be down at the lake by 6:30 or so. All the times I have been out there early morning has the most action, around 9-10 it tapers off and the wait becomes longer. Gonna try some lures first thing Sunday morning and see if I can land a keeper, oh, a keeper at Williamsport is something like 20" for a bass. They have pics in the store of the one's that got brought home.
Anyhow, it's a good day out there. I've taken friends out there and rented a boat and we've stayed out there until 3-4 in the afternoon drifting around.

One more thing, if you go, forget about cell phones, I have yet to see anyone I know have one that works out there. Sprint, Verizon, Cingular all dead. Which is fine by me!!
I'm plannin on goin.
They had a pretty good pull over in lynville the other night.
Had a good lookin 98 12v dark green and grey quad cab long bed that fogged out the whole sled. My buddy chris knew and asked what he did to it. He said, I don't know I bought like that out of Indiana but it pulls to 4k and smokes so I'm thinkin its got somethin done to it.

ok guys, i want to see if we can organize and have at least a few trucks head up to the TS performace thing together. Since it is straight up in bowling green i figured that we could meet at one to the exits on 65north. let me know what you guys think and what times you would be interested in being there for.
on a side note i don't know how many of you saw my thread "stupid move" but i am recovering from a rather large area of my shoulder/arm/back that is covered with 2nd degree burns.

Yeah I saw that. Looked like it might have tickled a little. That could've been real bad. Been lucky here at work. Came close to getting burnt a few times. My friend had a coolant hose blow up on him. Burnt the crap out of his arm.
Man it sucks. There's always something planned or cool going on then I look and it just happens to be my Sat. to work. Every 5th Sat, what are the odds? I might be out for this one. Although doesn't sled pulling start at like 6 or 7?
