Perhaps it was something that belonged in the classifieds?

I see that you have made a couple of posts asking the same question. You may find that even that is verboten and may result in a thread disappearing.

it is in the classifieds the link was to the classifieds, Y can people post links to ebay items, but not to this very site??? I thought my price was a fair asking price & seems to some that I"m being unreasonable, just wanted a general opinion from folks that had bought/sold these trucks???? thanks, & I really meant no harm whatsoever????? thanks again! Dear Dusty,
Please feel free to PM the admins when you have a question like this...

I did not delete your post, but I did see the deleted post, and to us, that 'seemed' like you were advertising your rig by posting it in a forum to gain more attention to it. You motives may have been totally innocent, which I believe they were, however, others that do the same thing are not.

We allow ebay links when they are not the posters item, and only under some instances... I have removed quite a few e-bay links...

If this does not answer your questions, please feel free to PM myself, or any other admin.

no problem, & my only reason for posting the link was to try & save some typing & posting of pics to show the members what I had, wasn't at all advertising in the forums, it was seriously just an innocent ?, that being said I think I may 4get it & delete the classified ad as well, not worth arguing over with anyone, just thought maybe someone here would be interested in a great truck before I put it on ebay, but it seems that everyone on here can find better prices on these things than I can?????? thanks alot, Dusty

Hey, leave it on the forum... everyone always knows about a 'better deal...'

Free classifieds. And, if he don't wanna buy it, tell him to beat it.

Same reason we can't post about performance enhancements. In my view the admin gets a bit **** about some things that don't need to be a big deal.

OK, I feel the storm troopers descending upon me......

The rules have been the same since 2001. They aren't going to change now. ****? Maybe. Our forum is one of the few that hasn't turned into a vendor playground; making our users afraid to post due to being overwhelmed by salesmen.

There is a fine line, and where we draw that line may not always be perfect, but we do it for the user. If you don't like it, feel free to express your opinion but don't expect us to change just for you. We will stick with the philosophy we have always believed, and it's not going to change, period.

Want something different? There are many sites to choose from.

Maybe because of the removal of the EGR and DPF's on the 6.7L.
