Lately on this site have been seeing more and more posts from newcomers with subjects that are not suitable for a family site. For example, there is a current post for dating. Do mods even exist on this site any more? There used to be a place where it was possible to report a bad post, but that option has vanished.
What is going on here? DTR appears to be steadily going downhill since it was sold. How sad!
Also seeing more and more posts from newcomers asking irrelevant questions, apparently just to drive up their post count. They don't even appear to own a Dodge and obviously do not have much technical knowledge of our trucks. Trolls?

There used to be a place to report bad posts, but that option appears to have vanished. In the past, reported bad posts were removed within hours. How can bad posts be reported today?

I see the reported post, but IB has thrown several new wrinkles into the mix that I'm trying to work through to move the post, and Nail him with the Ban Hammer.

 

I've noticed these threads also. I've also had nonsense replies to some of my questions and thread takeovers. Makes a person want to throw up their hands and walk away.

 

All those irritating posts are inevitably from first time posters. I don't believe that they even own a Dodge and the only purpose I can see for their stupid questions are to drive up their post count. Suggest that when we see those stupid questions from new posters that we just ignore them. Not one of them has ever filled out their stats except to say that they in the USA. One person said that were in France. Ask them question about their truck and the salience is deafening.
An example of a useless, irritating post is today from a first time poster where all 'she' said; "I know it's going to be really cool. I hope you can do it as soon as possible". No info on what type of truck this individual drives.

 

Lots of AI generated stuff happening here. Look at some of the old threads being dredged up, then watch the wording.

one of these poster’s names starts with nio. Look at how the algorithm picks out highlights of other posts in the thread and puts together a response.

Yeah, noticed the same thing. Also another useless and annoying post from a first time poster. The matrix is alive and well on DTR!

The public profile for this NIO character, machine or whatever does not list any vehicle, place of residence or any personal info. Hmmmm, more evidence of NIO being IA?

 

Looks like “Nio.” Dragged up around 20 old threads, many 10-15 years old, this morning.
More posts than all the real human DTR’ers, put together, have posted all week.
