Traffic is Really Slowing Down

Maybe collapsing the forums together like the 1st gen would boost conversation?

Maybe starting a FB group that also linked to the forums so we can point people to the stickies instead of answering the same questions daily on the groups?

It’s just so much out there to look at, you forget to come back to a really good site like this one. This is my first time back in maybe 6 months or more. There are so many groups on FB you can’t see them all or even know they exist. The forum should send out notifications when a new post is up in what ever forum section you want to belong to. Maybe they already do this and I just don’t know it.

User settings allow for email notifications. I got one today, maybe admins should have it set to automatic.

There's only so much stuff i can stand to have rolling into my FB feed. FB isnt so well-rounded at presenting all the activity either. I also steer clear of auto/truck groups not applicable to my locality - because most have an overbearing buy/sell climate.

Forums are a good venue - you can add to existing topics, and find key older info again. I wish the younger folks in the hobby could see that.

The FB crowd likes asking the same question over and over again.....Are they still asking why their headlights are dimming when they start their new to them 1st gen as the weather is getting colder?
Always a good question to ask every other day till spring arrives, then forget about it for 6 months.

They do not want to read up on the problem that someone else has had and fixed it - Then learn from it....
Just act like your problem is the only problem in the world......and wait for help.

Hit the nail on the head Oliver.

I am happy to see a new found appreciation for these rigs, but wish they would stop asking the same questions.

Facebook pretty much killed forums. Its been a long time since I posted anything here. Or other forums for that matter except for some radio control stuff. Most people also don't actually search for anything that would bring up a forum in the results. Just post it on fb and hope someone helps and isn't a dick about it.
