A question for the mods

When I am in the different sections and that little pop up window comes up that gives you a preview of whats in the thread before you click on it. How do I disable that feature I have looked and looked and I cant find it thanks for any help!!!

I believe the feature in question is something that Jack has embedded in the software.
Im not sure, but I do not think anyone can turn this option on/off.

Rich.

That function is not user "settable". It's either on for all, or off. I personally like it.

I'm not sure where it's at yet, as I am still getting used to this new version but as soon as I find it, trust me, it'll be gone because I cannot STAND IT! Those popups drive me nuts!

I'm with the nay sayers. Thanks Jack for doing away with it....found it very irritating. JMO.

After a few days of playing with the new set up.....I have to say thanks to the powers that be. All the changes are great....and much faster!

I'm stuck...at work at least, with a dial up modem.
The new speed saves much time!

RJ

No problem. I also found it very irritating. Every time I was reading a subject line, the popup would come up and block it. Then it would come up as the mouse moved down the posts, it's drove me crazy. I'm glad I found out how to turn it off.

Yep, me too Hoss. I check here about 3 times daily and have never once had a popup.

Thumbs down

The best thing about the upgrade and its gone. The amount of threads being read count getting to low? Its ideal when there is some bland post title, you could get a preview without clicking on the post to read someone elses crap. At least the TDR still has it.....
