Missing Post

I posted a wanted message. When I checked the board tonight for replies, my post was gone. Did someone delete it?

Ok, I'll repost there. Hope someone reads it, the wanted ads don't get many hits.

That would be me. Jack doesn't want this place looking like a swap meet, so all "For Sale" and "Wanted" posts go away as soon as a moderator or administrator sees them.

They get a lot more hits than you think. A huge amount of product in there sells every month. Either way, even if it didn't, it's no excuse for you to break the rules.

That last comment will definately drive me away, please delete my username. I didn't intend to break the rules and I didn't even know about the wanted in the classifieds, it's not it's visably grouped in with the forums. It's looking like this forum is getting just as **** as TDR, which is something that I find loathsome and is why I left TDR.

I'm sure admin didn't mean for his last statement to come off as harsh as it sounds.

The folks here are pretty cool. And as a fairly new member here it's common to stumble once. No big whoop.

Stick around and enjoy the fellowship.

Yea, well that's his place to appologise, not yours. I'm sure there are a lot of good people like yourself on here, but when someone comes along that is so quick to accuse someone of intentionally breaking the rules, like they never make a mistake themselves, then that makes it all not worth while.

Seems a little rough for a simple mistake. I've seen people do much worse than that........
Little note: Most people don't read word for word the rules & regs when they sign up (anywhere, for anything). Not like he was going to make a million without paying advertising fees for wanted ad?

Without a doubt the Classifieds button is less than prominent on the forums pages. Perhaps it could be highlighted some how.

Yea, it's enough to make a guy very, very . After reading first reading admin's post, I went down and worked the heavy bag over for a few minutes to relieve some steam. Thanks you guys for your support, but something makes me think that we won't hear any more from the admin on this subject.

If he locks this thread, then that would be classified as an act of cowardice.
