administrators, would posting a link to timbo1's website violate forum rules???

 

Timbo is a paying advertiser, John.

 

He was, he no longer is but it is OK to post links as informational. When you are advertising it is a problem.

For example if Tim posted it, it is an ad, when John posted it because he was asked if anyone knew the link, it was informational because John is not selling anything, hence no ad.

 

Its all in how you word it and your overall approach.

I have provided many links here (most of which were not site sponsors) and have never had a problem.
