would a link to thehighroad.org, a second amedment rights group, be kosher?

since related discussions are considered to be political here, I would simply like to advise my colleages of a more appropriate and open venue for them.

Most admin types frown on folks advertising other sites in their sigs. And if you want to get political, why don't you go to the site Jack created for DTR members instead of advertising a completely different site?

"advertising" is subjective, since it's a non-profit organization.

I have no interest in using allpolitics, my point is that since a discussion entitled "which handgun is right for me?" is somehow considered a politcal matter, there are better places to discuss it than DTR and allpolitics.

If you wish to post the link in a thread, there is no problem with that providing the site you link to contains no profanity. If you wish to place the link in your signature, that would be actively advertising and only allowed for sponsoring vendors.
