Image size

Im trying to upload a few images to my gallery but it says that they are too large. Is there any way to downsize them? Thanks

i use a program called acdsee. it is an image viewer, modifier, and slide show program that is shareware. it allows me to resize and save for different final file sizes.

Thanks, I think I can downsize my pics with my Sony Photocollection program.
