When I make or reply to a post, is there any way to make
"instant email notification"
the default or do I have to select it every time?

instant email notification

Click on User Cp top left of screen, click on edit options, and in the second box there is the option for email notification, that should change it to instant notificaiton every time.

 

I must have gone over that half dozen times and not seen it.
