I get this message when trying to do a search.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 50331648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /opt/www/html/dev/search.php on line 1028

Is it something on my end or does it have to do with the site?

You are overloading the server by searching for too broad of a term. Be specific and limit your question in a manner that does not include a general term like "dodge" of "transmission" something of that nature. There is SO much information on this site that using a term like that will bring back thousands of hits and cause an error like that.
