I don't think it was deleted because of your opinions. There were some fine posts on the thread but I imagine it was deleted when a couple people wrote what could be considered "hate" posts. No room for that here on this great site.

It wasn't because of your posts. It was that the thread in a general sense took a serious downhill turn, and we decided it was best to remove it before it got worse. I appreciate your concern, but you are fine. don't sweat it.

It is rarely the starter of the thread that is to blame.

It is the subsequent meanderings and sharp downhill turns that result in a thread being locked or deleted completely.
