craigslist problems
Captcha won't let you through to a seller.Don't know how or when this will be resolved but the only way you can contact a seller is if the phone number is spelled out in the ad. Keep it in mind if you are to post an ad. One blogger I read says his business is shut down because of this.
Must be someone buying and selling for a living. I wonder if the paid businesses are having the same problem. I noticed in the past they've had the same problem. I check CL everyday since about 10 years ago I had 2 good deals happen because I could call the seller. The first one was a beautiful red 93 mercedes SL500 AMG with a twin turbo kit. The guy was changing the alternator outside when it started to rain. He said enough and put it on craigs for 2300! Went and got it and put an alternator on and everything worked. Next was an ad for a truckload of 52 ford truck NOS, repro and used parts for free! And it did fill up my Dodge long box. Next was the motor in my F1 right now. A complete 54 merc 256 yblock with adapter to fit early ford trans, under 10,000 original miles $400 posted on craigs 2 minutes before I called. So craigslist is fun but the telephone works much better than text or email or having to go through the message system of a provider website, captcha is in place here in the NW
