Cannot access site from Hughes.net

For some reason, I cannot access this site from my home connection, which I recently changed to Hughes Net. As you can see, it works fine from my work connection and also via wireless. Maybe hughes is blocked for some reason?

You'd have to give me an ip address before I could tell you if you're blocked or not.

My guess is that it is a DNS issue.

Try this:

If you use Windows, click Start, then click Run.

A window will open. In the text area, type the following:

Code:

cmd

Then click OK.

This will open up a black window, a terminal (sorry if you already know this stuff).

In the terminal, type the following:

Code:

nslookup dieseltruckresource.com

It should return with something like the following:

Code:

Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]
(C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.

C:\Documents and Settings\neufeldd>nslookup dieseltruckresource.com
Server:  honker.micromedic.dom
Address:  64.245.255.31

Non-authoritative answer:
Name:    dieseltruckresource.com
Address:  66.179.167.101

See that number address under the " Name: dieseltruckresource.com" line? That is the IP address of this site.

If you get a different IP address, or an error message, then thats your problem.

Copy the IP that I got above (66.179.167.101). In your browser type the following:

http://66.179.167.101

See if that takes you to the site.

I'm on hughes.net and I surf here... well a lot. Hughes web accelerater proxy works as good as a screen door on a submarine. Try disabling proxy and browse the site that way.
