It was 5 years ago that the National Do Not Call List was established. It only lasts 5 years so renew your number today! Cell phones, parents numbers, friends everyone! Unless you like getting unsolicited phone calls trying to sell you over priced light bulbs.

speaking of which, i got a call at 8:30 monday night. apparantly anyone soliciting a survey is not the same as a telemarketer, and by law they are allowed to bother you. didnt stop me from giving him a few choice words and what he could do with his survey.

If you get a sales call turn them in! Get the name of the company & their phone number then make a complaint at the same site!

 

Statistics Canada had been trying to get ahold of me to do a survey for almost 6 months , every time they called ,and introduced themselves as joe , or mary , or whoever , from statistics Canada , Jayme ( that's me) was not home... after 6 months , they got smart, they just called , and when someone answered , they just said hello , no introduction, and asked if Jayme was home.

Usually don't get bothered more than few times a year by telemarketers.

 

Just checked mine, good until 2011 so I have some more time still
