Smok'en Hot

Yeah, that's been around for quite a few years now. I got turned in several years ago.

Dunno why?

They sent me a form letter saying that they know I've got a diesel, that's it's not smogged, blah, blah, blah, maybe I need to change my oil. Yeah, it's dirty oil.

We just had two scare the air days.....uhhh.....spare the air days....... in a row. These guys a gonna save the earth.

Yes, Nanny Arnie and his army of enviro loon-bats are just "here to help you".

I have not yet done it, but I am thinking of driving by the left side of an hybrid econo-box w/the window down, putting the truck in too high a gear, and punching it to see how much of the inside of the car i can fill with black smoke.

OK, just kidding.

Quote from the web page to report a smoking vehicle "Owner of Vehicle will be sent a courtesy letter. Thank you!"

I'm thinking of reporting myself just so I can get a letter to frame and hang on the wall...

Really, there is no need to do that.

It has already been proven that you can fill the entire care full of smoke to the extent that it starts exiting the opposite window.

Well, that is what I hear anyway???

I was following one of those Prius's yesterday and just laughed at how clean they are and how my truck smokes like a train with any kind of acceleration. Such opposites!
Have you ever noticed that they all drive them slow too? Trying to save even more fuel I guess.....

They usually have them floored... that's all they got.

And they aren't so clean to make and dispose of, just run clean on the road....

Well the Prius might be a 'clean air' vehicle as far as pollution while running down the road, BUT, have you read about the polution that surrounds the place where the batteries are made? Thousands and thousands more times pollution than any car would put out in it's lifetime. I have friends with one, HAD to go for a ride, they would NOT give an inch in showing me how quiet, etc, it needs some pedals or holes in the floor for bi-pedaling, NO power whatsoever, POS.

What a joke/head game on the people who buy them.

That site in CA for smoking vehicles should TELL the IDIOTS who do the reporting that it is NORMAL for a DIESEL to smoke some, what a waste of taxpayers money - soccer mom stuff. I bet the Prius owners run around writing down license plates just so they can indulge their stupidity with reporting diesel trucks.
