Re:Major Site Changes to Come

I like the new look, but the image is too big for my screen. I also don't know if I need the 'recent articles' on the side of the forums.

Other than these two things for me, I like the look of the format. Great Job Mandy!

Hmmmmmmmm... Think I prefer something a little less "busy". It does look nice, but now the "forum" side is smaller and forces one to scroll more. Seems to have lost some of it's "quick and dirty" functionality.

Is anyone running netscape? My brother says the site is a big pain in the butt with netscape.

I like the new layout pretty well and don't have a problem with it.......except......it's a little too wide. On most screens I have to scroll a little to the right to see the full contents of the post. I'm using the latest edition of IE with XP.

Re:Major Site Changes to Come

Netscape doesn't like our forum software for some reason. I know that Jack has explained it before, but it's a little over my head. There was another browser that it didn't like also, but I can't remember the name. We have both Netscape and IE here at work, so I use IE. It works great on Internet Explorer. ;D

On Edit:
Just looked back at some old threads and Mozilla was the other browser that didn't get along very well. Try looking at this thread because some of the guys found a way to change their browser settings to make it work a little better.

Hate to be picky - but having the articles on the left hand side makes you have to scroll a lot more when checking out the forums.

Awsome job Mandy!

Just as an idea... Of course can be shot down... but what about picturing all of the generations rather than being "gener-specific".... that may work as well??? Just a thought...

The site is streamlined and is great! and the grey background has my vote!

Well, using either Mozilla, Konqueror or Galeon is not too nice on this site. Lots of scrolling involved. I'd like to know whether it works on the Safari for Mac.

The problem is that the table including the forum messages etc is positioned below the lowest element on the sidebar on the left.

I looked at it in IE- looks are definitely cool.

Nope, doesn't work too well in Safari (Mac). The forums table is positioned below the lowest element on the sidebar and the style sheets aren't appearing as they should on some of the pages/elements.

Re:Major Site Changes to Come

Now the changes look alot better !

You can read without scrolling as much and not distracted by the stuff on the left.
