Thumbs up Side by Side 9-second First Gens

Ok so both are cheater (p-pump) trucks, and one's a mutant (Ramcharger) but still pretty cool to see a couple of square trucks go that fast! Cole (4x4) ran a 9.91, and Harvey hit the fast and the furious button on the steering wheel and sprayed around him with a 9.79. Good racing guys!!!

Very nice! Now we just need a true VE pump first gen to knock off some 10's and we'll be set!!! hahaha Cole's truck has gotten extremely fast for how simple it seems. Several prostreet guys have been trying to get into 9's for 2 years or more with no luck, and Cole does it with relative ease and half the money invested. Thats true racing spirit!

I've always liked Coles truck, Just a simple no nonsense multi purpose hotrod that runs like heck. Even if it is a P pump it its still a 1stgen, Say you swap a Holley onto a Camaro is it not a Camaro anymore?

Shoot, 4 years ago it was a wheelin rig on 40-inch tires that ran 15s. Now look at it!

Cole was a drag racer from the start (works on Pro Mod stuff) so it seems easier for those guys to go fast than for diesel guys who try to turn drag racers.

That was probably the most impressive race that I have ever seen. Two First gen going at it and both of them running in the 9’s. Now they both need to get licensed before they can do it again.

Harvey was grinning all night long. He was in such a good mood he paid for most of our dinner and drinks after the race.

Yeah they let diesels race out there when they are open on the weekends. The only true diesel day is going to be September 10th. That is when Ponci's Diesel Center rents out the track. After everyone is done racing there is a party/dinner at the shop. He even gets a beer trailer as the center piece in the shop. The next morning Jefferson States dyno is outside waiting to see how much HP everyone has. It’s a top notch event that everyone should come to.

That has got to be the most well built multi purpose truck I've ever seen!!! Runs 9 second 1/4 mile and pulls the sled in the top of the pack. INSANE..............

I'm surprised no one said anything about the Ramcharger pulling the front off the ground when it launched. That truck's gotta be dialed in.

Yup! Short wheelbase, transbrake launch, and about a year of trial and error!
