I haven't seen many pics of this yet, so I thought I would add to the search index.

Helbent Steel 2" with BFG 315's. Looks like it should have stock. In person, it really proportions the length of the cab well.

If I could find a reasonably priced source for some 315's, that's what I want to do to my new mega too. The dealers all want $200+ per tire around here, carryout. By the time you add shipping from tirerack or others, their deals aren't deals either. The H2 takeoff market has dried up in my area as well. What to do...what to do ???????????

Try getting a hold of discounttire.com. When I bought my MTR's, they undersold everyone by $50.... mounted and balanced. 4wheelparts couldn't even pricematch them. Great warranty too if you want it.

GotMeat,

Looks great! The 315's look very proportional on that truck imo. Nice!

Truck looks awesome. I may go with 285s or 315's once I get my truck. May be awhile but your truck is exactly how I would like mine to look. Scotty

My wife and I looked at a MegaCab long and hard. I love a short bed. If only a tire manufacturer would build a 315 in a 14-16 ply , that would make a great hauler. 265/19.5s would be a great addition to a MegaCab.

Dude, not to burst your bubble, but you will be lucky to find a 315 anything for under $200 a slice. For instance, the TOYO MT's in 35 x 12.5 x 18 are listing at $463 and available at discounted rates of $349. I actually have a set on backorder for about $260 a slice, but I will most likely be waiting quite a while. You can, however, find plenty of 285's in the $130-$150 range, but on the 3rd Gens 315's look perfect with no or little lift.

It lost some power, but I think I have gained mileage. Have to wait till I get the Truspeed working . It still feels good and torquey. It just does not jump like it did when stock. I have added the air box mod and will soon get the filter and muffler and I am hoping to get some of it back.

No rubbing at all, period. Shocks feel good too.

Now that is the first Mega Cab that I half way like. I just can't get into the new body style but you did a good job!

Thanks for the compliments guys. I had a feeling all along that with a balance between lift, length and tire size, pretty much anything can look good.

The Wrangler Unlimited looks pretty wimpy in stock form, but I've seen quite a few that are lifted on 33's-42's and they look really nice.

It's all about proportions. I really think 37's would look better, but if you tow they aren't such a good idea.

This is a perfect combo of looks and functionality for me. The Wrangler does the trail duty!
