Hot enough that one of the major roads in Louisville (Gene Snyder Freeway) buckled due to the heat. Poured concrete surface. The road crew was hammering a big slab out as I went by on the way home. What a mess!

Evening all dinner tonight is being catered by waffle house . I think we all need to thank William Carrier this week for his invention of the air conditioner.

Take it easy and have a good time.

Ran across something cute for our Alaska and Canada friends. Heard there was a new religion up there. Found proof of it on the web. Here is it - - I HOPE.

Had that happen back in 72 or 73 in the CA bay area. It got up to like 115°.
Another cool and rainy day.

We ended up having a house guest last night. I was slipping around making coffee and getting ready for work, being extra quiet as they were asleep on the couch. I tripped over the cat. Bounced around a bit before knocking a glass off the counter. Don't know if it was the crash or the descriptive words that woke them up.

Somebody bring in breakfast!

For those of you rotary engine fans, I stumbled across this https://vimeo.com/163543761?from=outro-embed A cool idea that seems to solve a lot of the problems the original design had. This one could have the potential to run on diesel.
