I've been called worse..... I will post progress this weekend or next week, depends on when I get the kit. It may be here today.

Here is what they looked like and who they shipped with. I'm impressed so far. I read through what little instructions there were. Now let me get this out in the open. I am in NO way a wiring goooroooo. I hate it!!! I called Todd and asked for some clarification on diagram. Thats when he sent this to help, and it did.

Todd and I spoke probably 5-8 times yesterday and he was very willing to help and get me through this install. I got everything hooked up and all was working I called him to find out if the resistor is suppose to be as hot as what I had and he said yes. He asked me if I had started the truck and used the lights, because this is the true test for Dodge..... Well low and behold we had problems. No low beams, high beams would work but passenger side kinda shook or fluttered somewhat. With Todd on the phone we ran some tests and had a few interuptions. He's busy guy, but always called right back. I had to switch the way the resistor and the capacitor were in the system. This just took switching the plugs around (nothing hard, even for me). Now all work and seem to be fine, I need to adjust down cause these fawkers are bright. I know I will p i ss some persons off soon. Still may have a little shake in the passenger bulb and from the front they don't look the same bightness. Here are some pics of install and what they look like NON ADJUSTED.

One question to those reading. I couldn't find any room on the drivers side to place the ballast besides where its at. It is stacked on top of the Edge Box which is on top of the fuse/relay box. Will this hurt anything? It does not get hot, i was just wondering about all the elctronics??? Heres how they shine. I will try and adjust later this week. Dim, Bright, Dim, Dim, Bright.

Update:::: Lights are awesomely bright. I have had some issues with the passenger light going out when switching w/dimmer switch, and also lights have went completly out 2 or 3 timeswhen switching. Called Todd and discussed my issues w/him and he asked if the truck has a programmer and if so which one. I informed him that it was Edge/Attitude. He said that those throw a whole other kink in things and said the wanted me to unplug the capacitor and plug in another resistor (that he sent me). I performed this switch last nite and WOW!!!! They work flawlessly now. Thx to Todd and his Customer Service and willingness to get the job right.

I have the bright box installed the keep the fog lights running with the high-beans on. I was also looking at getting the harness to make the fog lights a little brighter but I dont think my set up it too bad. I get people flashing me now with my regular lights prolly be even worse if it was brighter...

My fog lights are back inside the Ranchhand bumper and don't really offer much light on top of these.

Improved Vision (headlights)

IF you have fog lights there is a $3 fix and 2 hrs of work - add a relay to the fog lights to turn them on every time the head lights are on.

If you do not have factory fog lights - spend the $100 and get them - absolutely help to shine at the sides of the road.

This way you never have to pull out the switch and they remain on with the brights!

Other option is to add a brite box which keeps your low beam head lights on even when you have your brights on.
