Xzt+ Switch

I have had the XZT+ for about six months and like it. I have down loaded the hi idle to the off position of the switch(Middle Position) of the toggle switch. Now the hi idle comes on in the position that was the ( Timing)Mileage position of the switch. I contacted Quad and they said sometimes the switch position changes. This doesn't sound right.I am glad I had the hi idle down loaded or I would of never knew the switch position changed. Has any one else experienced this problem. Just for trouble shooting I have checked all my connections and di-electric greese.I have re-down loaded and tried another down load but it still has the hi idle coming on in what use to be the mileage position. As the switch is mounted All the way up is fuel and timing,Middle was off position ,now is mileage, Down position is now off and hi idle.

Sounds like it might be the cold engine protection program kicking in. Does the high idle work in the up postion also? Which tune did you download?

The 2003 and 2006 have the hi idle with out any warmup feature. It is strickly switch position and time delay.

It sounds like it is working right?

The middle setting has ALWAYS been timing only. It has NEVER been off.

When I originally down loaded the hi idle feature It would activate after 2 minutes in the middle position. People who post here have told me the middle was the off position. And it made sense because that is what position it was when I would get the hi idle feature. Now the Hi idle comes on in the 1st position or down position. When I switch it from the middle to the down position the hi idle kicks on right away with out the 1 minute delay as the 2006 down load claims.Does this info help you diagnose

Can anyone explain why the hi idle kicks in right away when I switch from the timing position to the off position. This is with the 2006 download.
If I am starting the truck up then it will kick in after 1 minute of idle.As I understand the way it should be.
