Angry Wrong Sleeves for upper and lower control arms

Doing 4.5 inch Skyjacker lift on my 02 2500. Got the front end completely torn down to find out I had wrong sleeves for the front upper and lower control arm bushings. Any of you guys had the same problem? Did the 01's run different sized control arm bolts than my late 02, Didnt think so? Well time to call skyjacker. Thanks- Cant be only one with this problem.

Pretty common....I can't remember what the size difference is though. Do a search over at pavementsucks.com.

Mine went in alright. It took some persuasion with a hammer and some grease but everything went together. My biggest complaint with the skyjacker stuff was having to run back and forth to the parts store for various nuts and bolts that weren't included in the kit.

O.K. Guys, Got on the phone with skyjacker. The part #'s they gave me are. LS20DU and LS20DL. Upper and Lower Bushings to be used on the 02 2500 and others. Company made good on these, just hope they are the right ones. Thanks Cowhand for the Website to search. Hay Big Blue did the lower axle u-bolt plates have the right sized holes for the u-bolts. Had to drill these a hair bigger, also what did you do with the rear brake line/ABS bracket mine fits if I were to bend the hell out of it, any ideas other than FAB a new one. Thanks Guys, JWBartel

Yeah. You need to drill them a little bigger. I ended up just reusing my stock ones because the skyjackers were to short to use with the overload leaf and to short to use without it. Oh well. I highly recommend that if you have to reuse your stock u-bolts that you get some new ones made up asap or retorque them after 500/1000 miles. My old ones stretched and kept loosening up and breaking the center pin bolts on the u-bolts. I finally got new ones made and all is good now. The old ones were actually bent length wise.

Last bit of info. Got the new sleeves today. Guess what they fit. The item description on the box from Skyjacker said Dodge 2K front sleeves. So any other guys getting ready to do a Skyjacker lift I hope this helps, that is if you have a 2000 to 2002 3/4 or 1 Ton. Thanks, Guys
