I'm not sure aboot any ferenheight stuff but I'm sure that minus 50 degrees celcius is colder than any of you have had. It's pretty tough up here in Northern Alberta and our trucks still work too. Just gotta plug them in for a couple hours. Power windows don't work till it gets hot inside though. Tires are square for a few miles too.

Grits are actually made from hominy.Im' from the south and I think they are nasty.And I bet those boys only went snipe hunting once!

OK I'll rephrase the question then. What is hominy? Plant, animal or mineral? Is there such a thing as a hominy plant?

Really I have no idea - I tried some for the first time ever on friday at a Cracker Barrell in PA and had no idea what it was? I don't think I will ever need to try them again.
