Witch one would win?

Would a 5speed with 4:10's ever beat a 6speed with 3:73's?...my buddy has the same truck as i do and those are the only differences but he has a quadzilla on the 6speed and got on the internet and turned the quad up more. and i love the power his truck has..would mine beat his if i had the same chip?

all things being equal I suspect the truck with 3:73 would have more top end, and I think the trucks have a speed limiter anyway around the 110-115mile per hour mark

so he has a common rail? 373 are on cr's. if its a second gen its 4.10 or 3.55. what size of tires are you both running. how fast can you shift.
4.10 will limit top end. but also pending your tire size on both trucks will make a diff to some degree.

Everything else equal, I'd put my money on the 5 spd. One less gear to grab.

Well from posting quite allot I have found some people will not read your post if it sounds like a young kid wrote it. Some grammar errors are usually mad by the younger generation. But the good news is spell check would not have helped you as it was not a spelling mistake. I have been made fun of for my writing so know where you are coming from.

if your buddy can shift he will win. 6 speed gears are close together so you have to shift more yes but you dont lose as much between shifts since the gear ratios aint as wide. this is of coarse comin from a 6 speed driver with a quadzilla
