I bought an original Van Aaken for 1999. Will the box work in a 2001, or better find something else ?

Any consequences if I try ?

 

I believe the pump hookup is same for 1998.5-99 and different for 2000-01 model. Try connections to see if matches, won't hurt anything if it won't connect together. You could verify by checking out VanAaken website or dealer.

 

they are different between a 99 and a 00 i know this for sure . but if the guy you are getting the box from there should be a adapter with the box that will make it fit and work great. now that i think about it i needed the adapter to make it work on my 99 and he didnt need it for his 00 so you should be able to take the adapter off and it would work fine .
