Where and what kind of rod bearings?

Im having to go in and replace my rod bearings this week and I was wondering where can I get a rod bearing kit and about how much do they run? Also are there any "High performance" bearings out there or are they all the same ???? And one last thing, while Im in there is there anything I should go ahead and do just for safety sake (or Beefiness factor ;D)?
I just wanted to thank everyone again who helped with my problems earlier, I really appreciate it.

Ok Scott...I got the ticket.

Billet Rods 4340 Chrome moly steel, 3000 bucks a set
Or the titanium rod in the same stroke, 6800 bucks a set

A newer and lighter forging for the crankshaft.....4000 bucks.

A nice new set of hyper pistons. 17% silicon content. 1500 bucks.

New C & A rings 600 bucks.

Tq plate bore and hone the block, deburr the casting flash. Check the deck height, etc etc. 400 bucks

One of my 8620 Billet cams 2000 bucks

roller rockers and tappets 2500 bucks.

Complete assembly, etc.

You will still come up just barely over the cost of a new engine from Cummins. ;D

Oh...they will both have the same rod bearings.

In other words, the stock Cummins rod bearings are great!!

Don~

Re:Where and what kind of rod bearings?

Speaking of billet cams, Don, what's a "billet" cam gonna do for me? I have heard of billet being used for input shafts because it is stronger, but does my cam shaft need to be stonger? I thought I just needed a different grind for getting more air through the engine.

Thanks,
Chris
