Where should I put my kill switch???

I don't need help on where to mount the switch, just the best place to kill the ignition.

Please be specific, ie: The blue wire coming out of the....

(I'm still very unfamiliar with diesels)

('92 D250 LE)

Re:Where should I put my kill switch???

I "hid" mine behind the seat heaters in the dash. I had to do allot of work to get it there, but so will someone else to get the truck to start if it can be found. I also changed the factory location of the power wire, (your color will differ from mine) when I installed it the power comes in under the column and goes stright to the key switch. All I did was move it to the other side of the truck and used two relays to start the truck, I also cut out the fuel pumps at the same time. OverFueled

Re:Where should I put my kill switch???

this might seem a bit way out for guys who like all stock luxuries, But since my fuel shut off solenoid kep going out on me, (ive replaced it twice) i decided to rip it out all together.
I went with a push pull cable linkage like on a semi.
Any parts or truck mechanic can help with finding one.
Now , not only do i have a kill switch that most people wouldnt think to look for. In the winter months i can leave truck idling( for short periods) or any other time i want to keep it running, and taker the keys out and lock it.
Works well for me, but alot of people might prefer just turn the key and go , rather than fussing with another switch.
