I would think 18*-20* would put those 370's WAY OUT OF THE BOWL (these are marine 370's right) I would say 16*-16.5* IMO!

i agree with 97' CTD, the 370's are already sprayin crazy so the added timing would put them in a bad spot.

Ok well the injectors were in my truck when i bought it and the guy said they were 370's. How can I tell if they are 370 marine injectors or if there something else?

18* will have the 370's giving the cyilnders a wash . No I dont know for sure but I just know that 16* would keep a little more fuel in the bowl than 18*-20* IMO.

22-24* with all that fuel youll need some decent timing. it will spray outside the bowl but the concetration of the injection event will still be in the bowl.

ive been everywhere with timing, and when i was on a stock motor with a 66mm single i ran 23*

now with my s400 and marine pistons i run 30* and its my daily driver.

If you run that much timing 18*-20*with the 370s you will burn the tops of your pistons (not good).
You will need to pull one to see if the stamp says 370 on the side of the injector.
Check out New Era diesel, they sell some nice injectors for the money and they have the correct spray pattern. That way you can run alot more timing.
