Question when should the boost come on ?

just got done puttin the goodies on my 96 CTD this week new BD P PUMP, stage 2 injackors, and a HTb2 turbo 6214 it seems like it takes about 1700 to 1800 for the turbo to start spoolin 5 to 10 psi is that where it should be? Its got a 5" turbo back exhaust s&b air intake and I checked for Leaks on the turbo hoses need help

Yep, bigger turbo's take longer to spool. Hope you have a built transmission, cause if not your stock one is gonna hate you!

When I have cash for a different turbo, I will go with 62/12 which should help spool time and keep it close(r) to stock.

i thought a 62/12 would be better for an auto and a 62/14 for a stick

I checked the timin again its at 16 called HT turbo hot line the tec said that with the mods i have the 6214 is the one 6212 is to small yea this truck is smokie on take off than clears up the trans was just done at T&T what should i do next ?
