i have a friend that has what i assume is a 2000-2002 24v engine for sale. he is trying to get me to buy it for $100, but it doesnt hav the turbo or the vp-44. he also thinks it has a bad cylinder or piston hes not real sure. the reason i think it is a 2000-2002 is because it has a blach valve cover. i havent checked to see if it a #53 block or not. do you all think i can make some money off of it?

 

Yup. Worth nearly that in scrap. Grab it jsut to have a conversation piece in the shop if nothing else
