Bang for the bucks $$? Right now I have a 01 24V 5 speed SO, new SO VP-44 Aftermarket fuel pump, all the gauges etc, stock injectors. I have a Smarty Box, stock air filter etc. but didnt notice a big diff after SW# 3 level in the Smarty box so, Just wondering what comes next.

 

exhaust and air filter. better mileage better sound more power. then injectors. then a turbo. then a clutch. then twins. then bigger injectors. then head studs. then a head gasket. then a p pump. then bigger twins... catch my drift? it never ends but id do exhaust and airfilter next.

 

If you're mainly looking for power, sell that smarty and buy a used comp or adrenaline. You need to do the supporting air mods and gauges though first.

 

Next should be the clutch.

 

You will need injectors next. They will give you power AND better mileage.
Go too big and you will HAVE TO spend money on the clutch, exhaust turbo, etc.
Keep the Smarty, and get a TST or Blue Chip box.
The Smarty is about drivability first, then power. It adds throttle response that isn't available with any other package.
