im looking into buying a kit and have narrowed it down between the snow performance Diesel Stage 3 MPG-MAX™ Boost Cooler
http://www.snowperformance.net/product.php?pk=65
or
the coolingmist cmgs diesel stage 3 mpg plus
http://www.coolingmist.com/detailmai...lstage3mpgplus.

anyone running either of these? opinions?
any input would be greatly appreciated

Have been using the Snow unit mainly to cool EGT's, used more water than I was ready for, had to install larger tank but not that big of a deal. The unit has worked really well, never tried the meth, just wanted the cooling benefits. Only negative is the control module is difficult to read if ligthing is not just right, shadows vs sunlight onto the unit make it hard to read displays, screen colors should have been different.

I've had a two stage Snow for almost ten trouble free years.
I'm running 100% -45° washer fluid from a 5 gallon tank in the bed.
Only using it to bring down egts when towing heavy (26k).
It instantly lowers my egts about 150°

I just got the AEM kit with the 5 gallon tank(not installed yet). I know better kits are available but I'm only wanting it to drop EGT's on a big grade I always climb when towing. I think it will fulfill my needs for the least amount of money.

If you are looking for excellent support, check out glacier. I bought my LP off of them, and I had some minor issues, called em up and they were great... In fact, I checked, and they sell the snow perf. kit you are looking at http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/pr...pf_id=SN-49005

If you only want it to lower egt's why not go with distilled water? -45 fluid I just looked that up and it was 45-50 methanol. You have been using that for 10 years? I was kinda thinking that was on the ragged edge of too much methanol. Guess not.

Hope it works great for you! Haven't seen any reports on their kits, but they sure look like a quality setup. Be sure to report back.

I've run the snow stage 2 kit with a 220 psi pump for three years. I just leave mine on all the time. I run -40c windshield fluid and the 625/325ml nozzles.
