Hands down, EZ.

It will make more power and drive better.

I have been there, done that!!!

I had the tst, ez, an smarty stacked on my last truck. Worked very well together. The ez gives fuel down low, an thats it. The smarty gives it down low an mid range but increases timing more an makes it funner to drive because it has much better throttle response.

You already have the comp lvnsmoke, just run it in ez mode (no tap on pump) and try it on 5x5 and its gonna be the same as havin a ez box..

Run your comp as Redliner said with the wiretap unhooked. I've tried everything with my TST including the old catcher programming which was the predecessor to the Smarty. I lost power on the topend with the catcher tunes. And make sure the TST you purchased has the competition tune in it. The TST comp fuels very hard and very aggressive so don't be alarmed when your truck shakes when you let off the throttle on settings 6 and above.

Do you fellas know how much top end pull/power you lose with the Smarty over the EZ stacked with the TST? I'm planning on getting the TST in the future (comp version hopefully) and will be stacking with my already have Smarty. Would it be much more of a benefit to get the EZ or run a Quad XZT+ with the TST?

lvmknsmoke, hopefully you don't mind my question.

It goes map sensor to tst, tst out to edge box in, edge box out to stock harness. They MUST be all hooked together. Just tap the pump wire with the tst box. The only thing you wont be using on your comp is the pump wire. Go to tst's website for the instructions to hook up the other wiring on the tst.
